| Distribution Focus are solutions that deliver improvements to 4 wall distribution center process, layout,
material handling, labor, and systems. They address operating challenges including appointment scheduling
and yard management, receipt processing, multi-order picking, multi-channel fulfillment, labor planning and
balancing, and continuous performance improvement. |
| Transportation Focus are solutions that deliver improvements to ground, water, and air shipments across the
complete supply chain. Depending on the transportation challenge, solutions are geared towards planning,
execution, or visibility and monitoring. They address challenges including limited collaboration between
shippers and suppliers, order/load consolidation, changing relative costs between modes, capacity
imbalances, global in-transit visibility, manual freight audit/payment processing, and increasing regulation. |
| Store & Customer Focus are solutions that deliver optimization of in-stock merchandise and sales personnel
for stores as well as reduced markdowns and inventory carrying costs. They address merchandising
challenges including inadequate sales plan and fulfillment synchronization across channels; department level
forecasts not reconciled to SKU level projections; pricing and promotion volume models not incorporated into
replenishment methodology; and poorly matched space and assortment plans. |

product purchased as well as the efficiency of the purchasing function. They address planning and execution
challenges including existing contractual obligations, variable supplier historical performance, increasing
transportation costs, taxes and tariffs, phone/fax/e-mail communication, and multi-location, many item, multiperiod
purchasing bid analysis. |
